Due to pending lawsuit hotfile is fast becoming like rapidshare
Firstly, in a slightly aggressive move, Hotfile started banning the accounts of those for which they have received a large amount of infringement complaints, probably because of an upcoming case against them. The banning of an account also means that every file associated with it is deleted. It is perfectly within their rights to do this.
